Susana Klotz

My name is Susana Klotz.

I believe that sales is everything. Before a line of code is written, a dream must be sold. Before a team can execute, they must be sold on the mission. Before a customer signs, they must be sold on the value. Sales is not just a department; it is the atomic unit of human progress. Everything starts with a sale, even the act of selling yourself on your own potential.

I am currently a senior revenue executive leading a 350-person global organization at Kaseya, a $12B+ pre-IPO software company. My day-to-day involves managing the complex machinery of New Customer Acquisition, Technical Sales, and Pipeline Generation. But my real work is applying what I call "Bifocal Vision."

Too many organizations get lost in their own strategies. They obsess over the 5-year plan and forget to hit the monthly number, or they burn out chasing the month and forget to build for next year. I thrive in the tension between the two. My methodology is about ruthlessly executing for growth today while simultaneously laying the architectural rails for scale tomorrow.

My path to the boardroom wasn't linear. I didn't start in a server room; I started in cosmetics and apparel. I built high-performing teams in industries where there was no recurring revenue to hide behind. You either closed, or you didn't. It was there I realized a fundamental truth: my talent isn't limited to a SKU. My talent is the physics of scaling teams and the art of the close. Whether it’s consumer goods or enterprise software, the principles of human persuasion and operational discipline remain the same. I can do this with any product, at the highest level.

We are now entering a new era with AI, and I have a specific view on it. I see AI as a force multiplier, not a replacement vehicle. I use AI to measurably multiply the bottom line of my teams. My philosophy is contrarian: I would rather hire more people who fit into this AI-enabled dynamic to achieve superhuman growth, rather than shrink a team just to perform the same as before.

Outside of the revenue engine, I am grounded by three things: studying the Bible, running, and spending time with my family. In a world of constant noise, shifting targets, and high stakes, these are my sources of truth and endurance.
